Monday Made it – Alphabet and Inspirational Posters!

June 9, 2015 By Ashley Schroeder

Hey hey all!!! I am SO so SO so excited to be linking up for the first time with my friend, Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for MONDAY MADE IT!!

Fourth Grade Frolics

This last week – my first full week of summer, I have been busy busy busy and have LOVED the time that I’ve had to make and create!! 🙂 SO I thought it would be fun to share a few of my creations Monday Made it style!

Ok, so NO JOKE, with about ONE HOUR left of my final teacher work day last Friday – the FINAL hour of teacher work days before SUMMER – I decided that instead of covering up my old alphabet to have it ready to go for the new school year, that I was going to create a new one!  I was there late on a Friday night….the FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT OF SUMMER creating a new alphabet!!
. . . And MY OH MY do I ever LOVE how it turned out!! . . .
I am a BIG fan of Melonheadz clipart, so my entire alphabet includes melonheadz images to coordinate!!
Here’s me all excited to hang UP my new alphabet!!! . . . .

And before I could hang it up, I had to decide on borders!! 🙂

These borders are from Carson Dellosa, Creative Teaching Press, and Teacher Created Resources!!

I’ve also already been asked… and I’ve agreed! … to work on an alphabet in cursive, too!!
You can grab THIS alphabet HERE… or by clicking the image below!
Orrrrr if you’re looking for numbers, too? I’ve bundled my new alphabet with some number posters, too! Click the image below to take a look at the discounted bundle!!

My 2nd “made it” was actually inspired after I finished up my alphabet!
I wanted to add some inspirational yet colorful words at the end of my alphabet strip!
And they of course had to match the blacks and brights color scheme!! I was SO excited how quickly they came together  – I just KNEW I had to share them with all of you!! 🙂
My alphabet strip is front and center in my classroom, so my kiddos eyes will see it AND the inspirational poster that I added to it, too!! You can check out a few pictures of these posters below! Click the image to check them out in my TPT store!!
(There are printer friendly options for printing, too!!)

So there you have it! My very first Monday Made it!! Let me know what you think about my newest classroom displays! And then head on over to Tara’s blog to link up, too!

I LOVE the bright colors! I promised the teacher that I share a room with, that I would not change our room this summer. So I must live vicariously through teacher blogs!
