March 16, 2015 By Ashley Schroeder

Oh dear sweet friends, have I got a post for you?!?! If you haven’t heard, my sweet, talented, REAL, hard working, and passionate friend, Angie from Lucky Little Learners and I are celebrating 3,000 TPT followers!! We reached that TPT milestone during the same week’s time and we are THRILLED to have {virtually} come together this week to bring you a fun celebration that has been SO rewarding for the two of us watching it all play out.  We adore you all and thank you for connecting with us and for being a part of such a fun week.  TOGETHER WE ARE BETTER!!!
Did I mention there’s a GIVEAWAY?!?! A HUGEEEEE GiVeAwAy?!?  Well . . .
WE HAVE A HUGE GIVEAWAY FOR YOU!!
Click {HERE} to head to my blog post to enter to win . . . but come on back to see the details of just ONE of the fabulous prizes that you can enter to win!!
Part of our giveaway is a $50 SHOPPING SPREE!! We are EACH giving you $25 dollars to spend in EACH of our stores!!! SOOOOO  I didn’t want you to miss out on MY FAVORITE twenty five dollars worth of Lucky Little Learners fabulousness, so I wanted to highlight what I would buy with a $25 shopping spree in her store! Here’s how I would fill my cart!!
**click any image below to take a closer look at these in Angie’s TPT store!

The first thing that would go into my cart from Angie’s store is . . . .

Brag Tags are a GREAT, inexpensive way to reward your kiddos for the little – and the NOT so little – victories! – Were they caught making you proud? Did they get 100% on a test?! Were they awesome for the sub?? They get a brag tag! Angie has three different sets of brag tags in her store and there is a brag tag for EVERY thing!!! Aren’t they fabulous?!? (confession – I’m new to brag tags, but Angie has literally SOLD me on them!!) I can’t WAIT to start using them with my kiddos!!

The next thing that would go into my cart from Angie’s store is . . . .

Ok  – let me just go ahead and tell you that I was hesitant about the whole interactive notebook craze that hit.  That is – UNTIL ANGIE STARTED MAKING HER MATH INTERACTIVE NOTEBOOKS!  My kids ABSOLULTELY LOVE using Angie’s math interactive notebooks in our classroom.  They are engaging, they’re challenging, they’re OH so FUN!, and she has one for EVERY thing, I swear!!  Her subtraction, addition, and place value interactive notebooks are among my favorites, but we have gotten SO much use out of all of them all year long!

Both the addition and the subtraction interactive notebooks are FILLED with strategy reference tools, practice, and activities.  They are SO engaging, and I love the similar format that Angie uses for each of her notebooks, so the kids learn quickly how to put their flaps into their notebooks – maximizing our learning time! If you haven’t tried them yet in your classroom, I promise you that Angie’s are a perfect place to start!! They are SO easy to use and your kids will absolutely LOVE them.

Place Value is one of those skills that my kiddos came into the school year with VERY little mastery of.  I immediately turned to Angie’s Place Value interactive notebook, busted out the base ten blocks, and we were set.  There are BASIC level activities and practice as well as CHALLENGING sets of flip flap resources, too! You will be SET to differentiate for your little learners with her place value interactive notebook FOR SURE!
I could go on and on and on about Angie’s interactive notebooks ALL DAY LONG – but there are SO many other fantastic goodies in her store, too!

The next pack that I would make sure I would add to my cart from her store is…..

I am a HUGE fan of task cards.  Love, love LOVE task cards.  And this pack of NOUNS practice uses tons of task cards, foldable resources, and printables to practice common, proper, singular, plural, and collective nouns! There are a variety of activities in this pack to practice identifying and using all types of nouns, and each activity is complete with a response sheet AND A KEY! Hello time saver!! This noun pack is PERFECT for any time of year – you can definitely use it to introduce nouns AND to review all of the different types of nouns as the school year goes on!! {I mean, my kids never forget what nouns are #HA, so I’m sure yours don’t either, butttt} If you DO need a GREAT nouns review pack {DON’T WE ALL}, THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!

Annnnd to total my cart to a $25 SHOPPING SPREE from Angie’s store . . .I’d HAVE to add….

OH MY WORD.  This unit is AMAZING.  Angie has done a HUGE update on this pack of ENDLESS ways to bring a fun camping theme to your readers at ANY time of the year!!  There are camping site posters, games, printables, certificates, camping BRAG TAGS, and SO MUCH MORE! I have HUGE plans to launch our reading block next year with Angie’s Camping in the Classroom, and I don’t have a doubt in my mind that your kids would LOVE if you did, too!!

Ok – so wouldn’t you LOVE to win a $25 SHOPPING SPREE from Angie’s jam packed TPT store!?

Say what?! You would like to win a $25 SHOPPING SPREE from MY STORE, too?!?!  Oh wait – – YOU CAN WIN A SHOPPING SPREE TO BOTH OF OUR STORES!!  Click {HERE} to enter to win . . . .

And then hop on over to Angie’s blog at Lucky Little Learners to see how SHE would spend $25 in MY store!! She’s scooping up some goodies, so head on over to check out what she picked!!

Check back on WEDNESDAY as we will choose the Giveaway winner Wednesday night!! xoxo

Thanks for joining us, friends!! TOGETHER WE ARE BETTER!!

My biggest challenge is TIME! There's not enough time to do everything I WANT to do…..not even enough time to do all I HAVE to do! I'm open to any suggestions on that front!

One of the things that is frustrating in education currently is not really new. Lack of money going to students! And more non teaching requirements placed on teachers

I think that managing time is one of the things that I struggle with! I am learning to prioritize! 🙂
