Weekend Warriors July – Timesaving fabulousness with PICASA!

July 27, 2014 By Ashley Schroeder

Hellllllo sweet friends! I’m back with another TIP for you today for part of my Weekend Warriors JULY posts! 🙂
If you missed a BUTTON FILE trick from yesterday’s post, click {HERE} or the image below to
check out what I shared yesterday as well as the FREEBIE you can snag! 🙂
Moving on to today’s tip – – – PICASA!!!
Friends –  for MONTHS, it was taking me HOURSSSS to create my preview files for my products . .
…. untilllll I found PICASA! 🙂 It is SUCH a time saver and my preview collage files end up looking SO professional and fantastic!! 🙂
You can see a BUNCH of my Picasa created preview slides above! Don’t they look fancy?!  You ALWAYS want to create a preview file of your files to give your fans, customers, and potential customers a professional “snap shot” of what your product includes! I’ve even seen and heard some TPT shoppers say that they will not purchase a product if it doesn’t have a preview! SO hopefully Picasa can help you get previews added to your fabulous products starting today!!
I always LOVE how my preview collages turn out, too! They also help ME at a glance to take a peek at a particular product that I’ve created if I’m looking for a certain activity to use in my own classroom! Picasa makes that ALL possible in MINUTES!
I PROMISE it’s easy – and SUPER quick!!
Want to learn how to create YOUR preview files in minutes?! Would you prefer to NOT want to pull your hair out when you finish a product and realize awwww crap you still have to make the preview file?! WELLLLLL You all are going to experience my VERYYYYY first video tutorial!!
Never have I ever made a tutorial.
Never have I ever had a youtube channel.  what?! didn’t even know such a thing exsisted.
Never have I ever shared a video of me in any way shape or form.
Well.  Never say never.
I made a PICASA TUTORIAL for you all to show you JUST how easy Picasa is to use!!
Well ?!? Did that help?! I sure hope so!! To get started, head {HERE to download Picasa} to your computer!!
If I can answer ANY other questions for you, leave your question in the comments OR email me at schroedershenanigansin2nd@gmail.com .
THENNN you must check out my other Weeking Warrioring blogging friends.  I just adore these girls and their tips and tricks are just WAITING to be shared with you! Check them out below! 🙂

I use Picasa for the photos on my blog, but I didn't know I could make previews too. Great video…I am such a visual learner. Thanks so much for sharing.

I love Picasa. I too use it for previews. I did learn a thing or two from you though. I did not know that you could delete the images and then reinsert them where I wanted them. Good to know.

Thank you for such an awesome tutorial Ashley! I can't wait to see new ones you make for us visual learners too!! 🙂 Did you know you could create a collage too, that isn't dragged in? I didn't know if you had played with that yet, but it may help your 90 degree angles! 🙂 Great job!!

Ahhh collages! I had some on here from my wedding. Lol genius yet again Ashley. I am jealous you can choose the images on the export. You have to export one by one on PowerPoint or all. This is great!! Xo

Thank goodness!!! This is so much quicker! I have a PC and this tutorial still worked for me! Only thing I think is the difference is that we cannot select which slides to export, I believe we have to export all.

Thanks so much for your tutorial!!

I have been back through all the blogs linked up and cannot find it again! Do you think you could help me out? Thanks so much!

I love this tutorial and creating with Picasa! I have a problem though maybe you could shed some light on it. Every time I make a collage and go to TPT to put it in, it tells me my file size is too large. Do you know what I might be doing wrong? Thank you!
