Five for Friday – FROM VEGAS!

July 11, 2014 By Ashley Schroeder

Good morning, friends! It’s July – it’s summer – it’s TPT SUPERCHARGE SELLER CONFERENCE DAY!!! – and it’s FRIDAY!!! In a very very honest attempt to get back into the swing of normal routines (school starts so so soon) – I’m clearly spending my morning blogging and linking up for Five for Friday with Doodlebugs Teaching!

Ok, I can’t even handle how much fun I’ve been having in Vegas this week with the SWEETEST girls around!! I’ll keep most of the details a secret for nowww (check back on Monday for a Vegas linky!), but I just had to show you oneeee little snippet of how fabulous this week has been.  So I mentioned that my roommates are the sweetest girls around – I roomed with Marcy from Saddle up for 2nd grade, Angie from Lucky Little Learners and Dixie from Teachin’ Little Texans and omiword, not only are these ladies as talented as could be, but they are so so super sweet!! We talked and laughed and shared ideas all week long, and I could not get enough of their sweet company! Marcy surprised us all, too with these ADORABLEEEEE personalized cups/jars!!
I mean . . . how much more love can possibly be in one picture?!?!?

Don’t forget, – while I’m here in Vegas, my WHOLE store is on sale!! 🙂 Click the button below to head to my store to clear some of those wish listed items while the price is slashed!

So I’ve had so many things on my to-do list this summer, and I’ve been slowly but surely been checking things off of my never ending list! One of the things on my list this summer was to made a new lunch count display for my classroom! I not only made a new lunch count display for my classroom, but I also took 5 of YOUR requests for different themes and styles of the lunch count set, and I’ve posted them all in my store!!  You can click the images below to take a close look at them!

Here is a snap shot at what the editable student name tags/cards look like for the brights set! :)You can type in your students’ names and lunch count numbers as they are an editable power point file!

Each set includes a display to hang in your classroom for students to make their lunch choice for the day.  I have included as many lunch count options as you asked for! I’ve also included editable student name/lunch number cards, too, that coordinate with each set! I hope these are the perfect addition to your classroom this year! 🙂 I LOVE how they’ve turned out!

So – – -back to school – – – it’s coming.  It’s inevitable.  And I’m alwayssss ready for a fresh school year! SOOO I’ve been in and out of my room quite and bit and I wanted to share just a sneak peek with you about how my reading focus wall looks as of this moment!
(more pics to come, but sneak peeks are just too fun to skip!)
So I used zebra paper plates from Walmart and foam sparkly letters that I got from Hobby Lobby to create the header of my reading focus wall! I attached the letters to the plate with velcro dots and I attached the plates to the wall with a push pin to the tack strip!
More pics to come as I dive back into my classroom some more this week!

And lastly, I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again.  and again.  and again.  I am SO thankful for TPT and all that it has brought into my life.  It has brought smiles, invaluable lessons, awesome experience, but most of all, it has brought the most AMAZINGLY beautiful and talented people – TEACHERS – into my life.  You may recognize 2 of the beautiful ladies in the picture above that I got to meet this week in Vegas!! Nicole Swisher is from All Things Apple in 2nd and I also met Hope King from Second Grade Shenanigans!! 🙂 🙂 I just LOVED getting to put faces with the talent that has been so useful in my classroom for so so long!

#feelingblessed #ilovemyjob #offtolearn #happyfriday

Happy Friday, sweet friends!! 🙂

I am always SO impressed with how productive you are! Maybe that "Early bird gets the worm" saying is true! You are amazing! 🙂 Thank you for always creating and sharing your products. We LOVE them. I literally bought like 5 licenses of some because other teachers just need to have a piece of this goodness. I hope you are enjoying Vegas for all of us that are at home {and jealous!}. 🙂
