Wordless Wednesdays: Sweets Style

April 23, 2014 By Ashley Schroeder

I’ve got a totally non-school related question for you this week – pretending calories don’t matter, which do you prefer? Cake or pie?! My mom made a coconut cream pie to die for for Easter – – I’m definitely a pie girl! <3

Hmmm, I love food period so this is a tough one. I guess it depends on what type of pie. I would take a key lime or lemon pie over almost anything. BUT, I love a good red velvet cake, white chocolate cake, or birthday cake!

"Let them eat cake", was not about me because I do NOT like cake at all. So PIE is a definite for me and I like pecan pie the best!

This post made me sad, I can no longer eat any wheat, evidently I am celiac. However way back, last month, I would go for a warm cherry or apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream. Hopefully I will figure out a good gluten free source for cakes/pies soon.
