February Currently – with a fib about me :)

February 1, 2014 By Ashley Schroeder

Good morning friends 🙂 Happy February! It’s a new month, and I’m linking up with Farley at Oh’ Boy 4th Grade for a new month’s currently!
There isn’t much that needs explaining, but I’ll do the run down for you anyway.
Listening
If you’ve been following me for any period of time, you know that I am very much so a morning person.  I was up and still working at 10:30 last night, and I have NO idea how I was still functioning and making sense of anything.  I just don’t work well at night! Morning is when my lists get done . . .and I just LOVE the silence that comes along with the morning.
Loving
Last week, I hit a milestone of followers on IG, and this week, I will begin a super exciting journey with a few other blogging friends!! (more to come on that soon) I just can’t tell you how much I am loving getting to know all of you that I have.  I just LOVE connecting with so many of you from all over the WORLD – hearing the ins and outs of your classrooms and becoming friends along the way.  Thank you all for being daily smiles in my life 🙂
Thinking
I won’t complain about the snow and the cold.  It’s brought me LOTS of productivity with the snow days that we’ve had, but I AM hoping that the nastiness that they’re calling for just goes ahead and stays away.  The 30 degree day without my scarf and WITH my kids having outdoor recess was just how winter should be 🙂 #wishfulthinking #i’mdiggingoutthesledtodrivetozumba
Wanting
I started a super fun irregular verbs pack last weekend, and then life happened and I didn’t get to finish it.  Does anyone else have OCD issues with undone projects just waiting on you to finish them?!? Like, I can’t handle the fact that the dryer finished 10 minutes ago and the towels need folded haha.  ANYWAY, I’m excited about what I have started, but am really wanting to get it done! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
Needing
Clearly.  I skipped past the Keurig to link up. #coffeeaddict #creatureofhabit
My fib?!
Did you make a guess? Can you tell which one isn’t even a LITTLE bit true??!!
I’m a little bit less than a stereotypical woman on this one.  I hate to shop y’all.
Like.
I hate it.
I don’t like spending money on clothes, putting together an outfit is a LOT of work for me, annnd frankly, I don’t have time. I just don’t love it.  I hope we’re still friends 🙂
Ok – as mentioned, I’m cuing the Keurig and folding the towels before continuing the to-dos.  I hope you all have a mild winter styled Saturday.  Go link up with Farley and share what YOU’RE currently up to! 🙂 🙂

Hope your area warms up and you have a great Saturday! I am with you about the shopping. A personal shopper would make my life so much easier! While we are at this wishing game, a maid would help too. Cheers!

Haha I can absolutely relate to OCD with unfinished projects. I love the feeling of productivity… and not finishing something just hangs over my head until I can get back to it! I hope you have a happy, productive, and warm day!! Keep that snow away!

I am glad to find a fellow partner in crime for the HATE TO SHOP dilemma.I just hate trying on things, deciding if it looks good, trying to piece together outfits, spending the money, etc. etc. etc.

But, I occasionally can get in the mood.

    Have a great weekend!

I'm so glad you understand my need to get things done once they're started!! It's a disease, I swear! But I'm okay with that haha:)

I hope you finish your irregular verbs pack – I've been trying to come up with some fun activities to teach them/reinforce them with my fourth graders! I have the same project issue though, but I realize that sometimes, there's just not enough time in a day. Good luck with your productivity, you can do it! :o)

I several projects started but not yet finished. I just save them and work on them when I get a chance. It takes me a while to finish a product. I think I must work really slowly!!!

I love this!! I like shopping, but only at Old Navy, and for things that I already know I love. Like their super long tanks that go on sale for $5. Other than that, I love looking at cool outfits on Pinterest, and pretending that I could put them together and knowing I never could. We are working on irregular verbs starting this week, so your pack would be awesome for my class to prepare for our test coming up in a few weeks! I used to be a morning person too, but then I had kids, and with kids come hours in the middle of the night not sleeping. 🙁 I hope that you have an amazing Sunday!!
