November is my favorite time of the year for lots of reasons – At the top of that list? Having an excuse to shop, sing, eat, celebrate, watch movies, and visit family and friends more often than usual! I mean – it’s my birthday month, it’s Thanksgiving, the latest Twilight installment is released (though Catching Fire will fill those shoes nicely next November), and the *Nsync Christmas CD is as much of a permanent fixture in my car as coffee is in my hand! I love everything about all of it!
So for me – it’s full steam ahead into December! The Christmas cards are written out and addressed – the house is decorated a bit – and the stack of Christmas gifts is piling up in our newly named “empty room” of a 4th bedroom upstairs!
There’s something a little bit nerve racking, though about the first Christmas in our new house. It’s like the pressure is on and expectations are high – more so from myself than from anyone else. Fortunately, for me, my decorating guru mother, sister, and best friend aren’t further away than a text or 2. THANK YOU to all three of them for the helpful suggestions, gifts, and advice. It’s still a work in progress, and I think TIME will help fill the shelves and end tables a bit more – but here’s a sneak peek of the beginnings of Christmas 2012 at the Schroeders…

That’s all for now – this short entry literally took me the better part of 8 hours to write – uninterrupted time is hard – no, IMPOSSIBLE – to come by these days . . . again – no clue how y’all do anythinggg with mini-mes . . . anyway, I promise it won’t be another month ’til I post again!
